ASBESTOS & LEAD PAINT MANAGEMENT

Asbestos inventory and hazard assessment including visual surveys for accurate identification, quantification, and hazard assessment; collection and analysis of representative samples of each suspect material; preparation of database inventory and AutoCad drawings showing survey results; documentation of findings in terms of actual and potential hazard assessments.

Lead hazard assessment including non-destructive screening using an XRF Spectrum Analyzer; sampling and analysis of suspect lead-containing paints; preparation of AutoCad drawings showing the survey results; assessment of actual/potential exposure hazards.

Asbestos Management plans and Operations/Maintenance plans including hazard assessments; air monitoring; evaluating abatement alternatives; analyzing the costs of management alternatives; reinspection/periodic surveillence programs; worker awareness training.

Asbestos and lead paint abatement design including pre-design site investigations; development of specifications and cost estimates for abatement; attendance at pre-bid conference and bid review assistance; review of contractor’s pre-construction submittals.

Asbestos and lead paint abatement air monitoring and construction oversight including continuous air monitoring and construction observation; approval inspections; maintaining written logs of contractor’s staffing levels, work activities, and site visitors; preparation of final project compliance monitoring report.
